This was the ultimate example of making the best out of what you are given. The floorplan provided was a low quality scan, barely legible, which presented a big challenge.
After troubleshooting the situation, I came up with this innovative concept that not only hid the flaws of the original materials provided, but more importantly, effectively promoted the community through this eye-catching visual.
AKC REUNITE
LEAD DESIGNER / CONTENT MANAGER
Our company, AKC Reunite, was rebranded back in 2013. I was the sole marketing and design team member on our staff at the time. As part of the rebrand, which included everything from pens and pencils to our new logo and website, I designed practically all of the items.
Since 2013, our website and materials have continued to change and grow. Most recently our homepage had a new facelift by creating a grid format at the very top. Since our business sells directly to pet professionals, as well as pet owners, it was important to make sure finding where you needed to go was simple. This new look helped create a pathway for our B2B, B2C, and giving back programs.
FALL WEDDING
LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Beautiful is the first word that comes to mind with this wedding invitation design. The clients wanted a fall themed wedding and provided details on the colors to incorporate. After providing me with a selection of photos from their engagement shoot, I got to work.
This photo was perfect for the design, having so much personality already. By placing the couple in a gorgeous fall background and then wrapping the bride in sparkles, effectively captured the essence of their big day.
